Cynthia Coker | Asocia Group CEO and President
Cynthia Coker is the founding owner, president and CEO of Asocia Group. She oversees the
general management of the firm and all division managers. Cynthia directs the company's strategy
and corporate growth. Cynthia also is very involved in the day-to-day activities with clients,
an important aspect to her professional principles. Founded in 2006, Asocia Group quickly became
a leading information technology services provider and is one of the top diversity, woman-owned
companies in the United States. Asocia Group is a woman-owned business enterprise(WBE) certified
by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). In 2008 Cynthia launched a second
company, Asocia Healthcare, a premier, full-service healthcare consulting and staffing services
provider. Asocia Healthcare is a preferred vendor of the largest hospital operators and institutions
in the United States.
A seasoned veteran of the field, Cynthia has more than 20 years of experience in the information
technology and healthcare industries. Prior to launching Asocia Group, Cynthia held
key positions in sales, alliance and executive management with leading technology and services companies,
including HBOC/McKesson, PeopleSoft, Oracle Corporation, Capgemini and Eli Lilly. Spending
considerable time in Silicon Valley, Cynthia is on the inside of multitude of inner circles of
executives. Well respected in her field, Cynthia saw a need for companies needing to be connected
to high-level professionals in the information technology and healthcare fields. This keen
insight led Cynthia to launch Asocia Group, adopting the mantra, "Who you associate with makes all
the difference."
A vastly experienced visionary and entrepreneur, Cynthia is well versed in corporate restructuring,
ERP consulting, senior-level executive placement in information technology, healthcare,
advisory boards, biotech and green technology. She's achieved success and
recognition through her outstanding work ethic and the development of a clear idea of her company's
future. Cynthia is very adept at structuring key corporate relationships and partnerships. She's also
dedicated to identifying new market opportunities and strategies. These core strengths, as well as
her unparalleled relationships with key players at all levels in the technology and healthcare
fields, lend themselves to the nationally recognized achievement of Asocia Group.
As a leader in the information technology field and active on the leadership committee for Women in
Technology International-WITI(Atlanta chapter), Cynthia plays a strategic role in advancing Asocia
Group as a highly networked company that enjoys an exclusive place in the industry. A published
author, Cynthia frequently speaks at conferences and radio shows to discuss trends and topics in
information technology, staffing and executive recruiting.
Cynthia is especially interested in minority and women-owned business enterprise development,
and is active in promoting diversity in the workplace. Cynthia is a member of the International
Association for Human Resources Information Management (IHRIM) and is
a founding member and board member of the Women's Executive Mentorship
Society (WEMS), where she counsels other women executives and women business
owners.
